Recycled Polyester Acoustic Panels for Modern Apartment Living Room Renovation

living room acoustic panels

Most modern urban apartments adopt open-style living room layouts equipped with hard wall surfaces, large glass windows and tiled floors. Such reflective materials cause severe indoor reverberation. TV audio, daily talking sounds and external traffic noise keep echoing indoors, damaging residents’ daily relaxation experience and overall living comfort. Property owners hope to adopt eco-friendly, decorative acoustic solutions that will not damage the original interior decoration.

This project laid recycled polyester acoustic panels on the TV background wall and side walls of the living room. Boasting an NRC value of 0.85–0.95, the porous PET material efficiently absorbs mid-to-high frequency echoes and ambient noise to optimize indoor sound field definition. Made from recycled fiber, the panels contain no formaldehyde and release ultra-low VOC, complying with global indoor air quality standards for long-term family living. The lightweight self-adhesive installation mode needs no drilling to protect the original house decoration structure.

After reconstruction, indoor echoes inside the living room are greatly suppressed. TV sounds and human voices become pure and natural without hollow resonance, and external incoming noise is obviously weakened. Customizable color panels match modern minimalist home decoration styles perfectly, realizing noise reduction effect while upgrading the overall texture of the living space.
