This 2,900 sq m premium wellness spa clinic in downtown Dubai includes treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, steam suites and public reception areas. Original thin partitions and hard tiled surfaces caused clear inter-room sound leakage. Treatment equipment noise and therapist conversations were easily overheard, compromising client privacy and undermining the calm luxury atmosphere. The project required wipeable, hygienic acoustic materials matching the upscale spa aesthetic, with compliance to Middle East commercial building codes.

Acoustic Solution

All treatment and relaxation rooms are lined with full-height fabric wrapped acoustic panels from the Fabric Series. Built around a high-density Owens Corning fiberglass core delivering NRC 0.85–1.0, the panels are wrapped in medical-grade stain-resistant flame-retardant fabric that supports daily wipe-down disinfection. The panels absorb internal reflections, eliminate flutter echo and cut airborne sound transmission between rooms. Panels are custom fabricated in the factory to exact room heights, with a soft neutral matte finish matching the clinic’s luxury interior design. All materials use low-VOC adhesives suitable for enclosed wellness spaces.
