Grooved & Perforated Acoustic Panels for Community Multi-Function Hall

Community multi-purpose halls are widely used for meetings, lectures, cultural activities and group events. The large enclosed hard space generates severe mid-low frequency reverberation, leading to muddy speech, delayed echo and uneven sound coverage. Ordinary porous acoustic materials cannot solve low-frequency standing wave problems efficiently.
The design team applied combined grooved and perforated resonant acoustic panels on side and rear walls. Based on Helmholtz resonance principle, the structure targets 250Hz–1000Hz stubborn low-frequency noise. Equipped with rear air cavities and acoustic cotton, the overall NRC reaches 0.90, realizing full-band sound balancing and remarkable speech intelligibility improvement.
The neutral wood finish fits public community architectural style. After the acoustic upgrade, the hall reverberation time meets standard public speaking requirements. Voices are clear, uniform and echo-free, fully adapting to diverse community activity scenarios.
