Fiberglass Acoustic Ceiling Tiles for Office Building Open Workplace

fiberglass acoustic ceiling tiles

Open-plan office buildings suffer from diffuse noise issues including staff discussions, phone calls, keyboard tapping and HVAC system noise. Traditional mineral fiber ceilings have limited sound absorption, resulting in noisy working environments and low employee concentration. Commercial office buildings require fireproof, moisture-proof and long-term stable ceiling acoustic solutions.

This project completed full-area replacement with high-density fiberglass acoustic ceiling tiles. Featuring inherent Class A fire resistance, low smoke and non-toxic performance, the tiles meet modern office building fire codes. The high-porosity structure delivers NRC 0.90–0.95, effectively absorbing scattered office noise and mechanical background sound. The material resists sagging, deformation and moisture erosion for long-term stable operation.

After renovation, the open office area obtains a balanced quiet sound environment. Cross-desk noise interference is effectively controlled, staff work efficiency and comfort are significantly improved. The low-maintenance ceiling system reduces long-term building operation costs for property management.
