This high-end designer boutique integrates retail display and contemporary art exhibition functions, and the founder places equal emphasis on textured premium spatial atmosphere and acoustic comfort. The original hard concrete space had strong sound reflection; during peak hours, customer chatter and background music overlapped into a noisy environment, which ran counter to the brand’s quiet and sophisticated positioning. Standard off-the-shelf acoustic products could not match the store’s custom interior aesthetic.

We selected cement-bonded wood wool acoustic panels to serve as both the core acoustic treatment and a key decorative element of the space. Custom-sized panels were installed across the full ceiling and feature walls, retaining the raw natural fiber-cement texture to complement the store’s industrial-luxury style. We adopted a staggered mounting layout to optimize sound absorption coverage while creating a subtle visual rhythm across the surface. The Class A fire-rated, moisture-resistant panels fully comply with commercial building codes, making them suitable for long-term retail operation.

After installation, ambient noise during peak hours dropped significantly. Customers can browse and communicate at a natural volume, and background music plays with clear layers without harsh reverberation. The textured wood wool walls have become a signature backdrop for product displays and social media photography, and the brand founder noted that the acoustic upgrade had greatly elevated the overall premium perception of the store. The project realizes the unification of acoustic function and decorative aesthetics, with custom dimensions and layout ensuring a highly unified visual and functional experience.
