This private psychological counseling studio puts absolute sound privacy and a soothing, calming spatial atmosphere at the top of its requirements. The original partition walls had poor sound insulation, and the hard interior produced obvious echo, which risked leaking client conversations and increasing anxiety during sessions. The counselor wanted an acoustic solution that felt warm and welcoming rather than clinical or institutional, to help clients relax and open up more quickly during treatment.

We designed a full-wall custom fabric-wrapped acoustic panel system for all consultation rooms. The high-density acoustic core material delivers NRC 0.85–0.95 full-frequency absorption, eliminating indoor echo and greatly reducing inter-room sound transmission to ensure complete confidentiality of conversation content. We selected a soft matte fabric in warm, low-saturation tones, custom-tailored to create a gentle, healing visual atmosphere. All materials meet commercial fire safety and low-VOC standards, making them safe and suitable for enclosed service spaces.

After the renovation, each consultation room achieved independent acoustic isolation with zero audible sound leakage. Client privacy is fully protected, and the soft, quiet environment measurably lowers client nervousness at the start of sessions. The counselor shared that clients generally feel more relaxed and open up faster, and the space fully supports the studio’s professional and trustworthy brand positioning. The project’s strengths lie in its extreme sound privacy for confidential scenarios, warm fabric texture for healing atmosphere, and fully customizable color and fabric to match brand tonality.
