This premium medical aesthetics clinic in central Singapore provides consultation, skin treatment and anti-ageing services, with a brand identity focused on calm, private and restorative care. The original space had thin partition walls and smooth hard wall finishes, causing noticeable sound leakage between treatment rooms. Consultation conversations could be overheard in adjacent rooms, creating privacy concerns, and indoor echo contributed to a clinical, tense atmosphere that clashed with the brand’s relaxing luxury positioning. Local healthcare regulations required all acoustic materials to support routine disinfection, meet strict fire safety standards and maintain low VOC emissions for enclosed treatment spaces.

We delivered a dual-system solution combining medical-grade fabric wrapped acoustic panels and high-density fiberglass acoustic ceiling tiles. All consultation rooms and treatment suites were fitted with full-height fabric panels with a high-density fibreglass core, NRC 0.85–1.0. The medical-grade stain-resistant flame-retardant fabric supports daily wipe-down disinfection, and the panels effectively reduce airborne sound transmission between rooms to protect patient consultation privacy. Soft warm-neutral tones were selected to reinforce the clinic’s calming, restorative interior atmosphere. The reception and waiting area ceiling was upgraded with fiberglass acoustic tiles, NRC 0.90–0.95, to control public area reverberation. All materials meet Class A fire safety standards and ultra-low VOC requirements, fully compliant with local healthcare facility guidelines.

The 260㎡ clinic upgrade was completed in 13 days, scheduled in phases to keep selected treatment rooms operational throughout. After completion, cross-room sound leakage is effectively eliminated, and one-to-one consultations remain fully private.
