Fabric-Wrapped Acoustic Panels for Professional Podcast Recording Studio

Project Challenge
A professional media production studio built a dedicated podcast and voiceover recording suite. The original empty room with drywall surfaces produced strong room reverb and standing waves, resulting in muddy, hollow vocal recordings with noticeable room tone. Untreated echo and ambient noise would require heavy post-production editing and reduce final audio quality. The studio required a professional-grade acoustic treatment that delivered clean, dry vocal sound while creating a visually comfortable, non-clinical recording environment.
Solution
Full-wall flame-retardant fabric-wrapped acoustic panels were installed on all four walls and selected ceiling baffle positions. The high-density acoustic core provides balanced full-frequency absorption with an NRC rating of 0.85–0.95, eliminating room reverb, flutter echo and standing wave coloration. Premium matte fabric was selected for a smooth, non-reflective appearance that reduces visual fatigue during long recording sessions. All materials meet commercial fire safety standards and are low-VOC for enclosed studio environments.
Results
After acoustic treatment, the recording room achieved professional-level vocal clarity. Recorded voice tracks are dry, clean and free of hollow room resonance, greatly reducing post-production editing time. The soft, even fabric finish creates a calm, focused atmosphere for hosts and guests. The studio now delivers consistent broadcast-quality audio for all podcast and voiceover projects.
