Church worship halls feature ultra-high ceilings, large open spaces and rigid masonry walls, resulting in extremely long low-frequency reverberation. Hymn singing, preaching voices and instrumental music produce heavy echo and sound overlap, making audio muddy, blurred and lacking definition. Ordinary porous acoustic materials fail to improve low-frequency standing wave noise in large sacred spaces.

We installed combined grooved and perforated resonant acoustic panels on side walls and rear walls. Adopting Helmholtz resonance principle, the panels precisely absorb 250Hz–1000Hz mid-low frequency noise and residual standing waves. Matched with rear air cavities and acoustic insulation cotton, the overall NRC reaches 0.90, realizing full-band sound optimization. Elegant wood veneer matches the solemn and sacred architectural style of the church.

After the acoustic upgrade, the hall’s reverberation time reaches the optimal standard for vocal performance and preaching. Singing and speech sound pure, clear and layered without delayed echo. The uniform sound field delivers a solemn, immersive worship experience for all attendees.
