This project was the acoustic optimization of a high-end psychological counseling studio. As a place for emotional counseling and psychological treatment, the original room had hard walls and obvious echo, which easily caused the sound to be unclear, and there was also the risk of sound transmission between consulting rooms. A quiet, private and relaxing acoustic environment is crucial to protecting client privacy and relieving emotional tension.

Fabric-wrapped acoustic panels were selected for full-wall acoustic treatment of each consulting room. The high-density acoustic core is wrapped with skin-friendly matte flame-retardant fabric, with an NRC rating of 0.85–0.95, which can effectively eliminate indoor echo and standing waves, improve the clarity of dialogue, and weaken sound transmission between rooms. The soft fabric texture can also create a warm and relaxing space atmosphere, relieve the client’s nervous mood, and assist in improving the counseling effect.

The product adopts low-saturation Morandi color system, which matches the simple and healing decoration style of the studio. All fabrics meet Class A fire protection standards and low-VOC environmental protection requirements. After the transformation, the speech privacy of each consulting room has been significantly improved, the dialogue will not be transmitted to the next room, and the indoor sound is soft and not harsh. Both counselors and clients reported that the space is more secure and relaxing, and the counseling experience has been significantly improved.
