Polyester Fiber Acoustic Panels for High-End Yoga & Pilates Studio

This project was the acoustic optimization of a high-end yoga and Pilates studio. The original space had hard floors and large floor-to-ceiling windows, with strong sound reflection. During classes, the instructor’s voice was mixed with echoes, and the ambient noise from outside the street was easy to penetrate, destroying the quiet and relaxing atmosphere required for yoga practice and affecting the members’ exercise experience.
Recycled polyester fiber acoustic panels were selected for wall and partial ceiling acoustic treatment. The panels have an NRC rating of 0.85–0.95, which can effectively reduce indoor reverberation, weaken the reflection of music and human voice, and create a soft and quiet sound environment, which is convenient for students to focus on breathing and movement. The formaldehyde-free and low-VOC eco-friendly material ensures fresh indoor air and meets the health needs of fitness places.
The panels adopt a soft and low-saturation color system, which matches the natural and healing decoration style of the yoga studio. The lightweight material is easy to install and has a short construction period. After completion, the indoor reverberation is significantly reduced, the voice of the instructor is clear and gentle, the background music is more layered, and the overall space is more quiet and peaceful. Members generally report that their concentration and relaxation during practice have been significantly improved, which effectively enhances the high-end experience of the venue.
