Wood Wool Acoustic Panels – Creative Park Open Office Acoustic Design

Wood Wool Acoustic Panels

This project serves a creative industrial park open-plan office. The original open workspace adopts bare concrete ceiling and glass partition design, which is fashionable but highly reflective to sound. Staff communication, keyboard tapping, printer and central air conditioning noise spread freely in the open area, causing serious sound interference and reducing office concentration. The client required acoustic renovation that retains the original industrial minimalist style without redundant decoration.

Cement-bonded wood wool acoustic panels were applied to the ceiling and partial background walls. With a natural raw texture, the panels perfectly match the industrial and artistic positioning of creative offices without destroying the original space design. The open fiber structure reaches NRC 0.80–0.90, effectively absorbing scattered office noise and lowering overall reverberation. The material features Class A fire resistance, moisture resistance and deformation resistance, adapting to long-term commercial office use.

After completion, the open office area forms a balanced and quiet acoustic environment. Cross-regional sound transmission is weakened, and staff conversation noise no longer spreads throughout the entire floor. The natural wood-cement texture enhances the high-end artistic sense of the workplace. The project achieves zero-style-damage acoustic optimization, widely recognized by design institutions.
