This 950 sq m premium dermatology clinic in downtown Toronto had clear inter-room sound leakage caused by thin partitions and hard clinical surfaces. Treatment equipment noise and consultation conversations were easily overheard, compromising patient privacy and increasing pre-procedure anxiety. The project required wipeable, hygienic acoustic materials matching a calm, luxury clinic aesthetic.

Acoustic Solution

Full-height fabric wrapped acoustic panels from the Fabric Series are installed in all consultation and treatment room interiors. Built around a high-density Owens Corning fiberglass core delivering NRC 0.85–1.0, the panels are wrapped in medical-grade stain-resistant flame-retardant fabric that supports daily wipe-down disinfection. The panels absorb internal reflections, eliminate flutter echo and cut airborne sound transmission between rooms. Panels are custom fabricated in the factory to exact room heights, with a soft neutral matte finish matching the clinic’s upscale interior design.
