Fabric Wrapped Acoustic Panels | Los Angeles Premium Meditation Studio Privacy Upgrade

Project Challenge
This 210㎡ premium meditation and wellness studio in West Hollywood, Los Angeles includes private meditation rooms, a group class hall and a client relaxation lounge. It features floor-to-ceiling mirrors, polished stone floors and minimalist high-end decor built for a luxury wellness clientele — but hard reflective surfaces create noticeable inter-room sound leakage. Guided meditation voices, singing bowls and relaxation music carry between rooms, disrupting client focus and ruining the calm, immersive atmosphere. The studio required acoustic materials that look premium, feel soft, and fit seamlessly with the high-end interior aesthetic, with no visible functional treatment.
Our Solution
We lined all private meditation rooms with full-height high-density fiberglass core fabric wrapped acoustic panels, with an NRC rating of 0.85–1.0. We selected a soft linen matte fabric finish in warm sand tones, matching the studio’s calm wellness palette. The panels absorb internal reflections to eliminate flutter echo and reduce airborne sound transmission between rooms, keeping meditation sessions private and creating a quiet, immersive atmosphere. In the group class hall and relaxation lounge we added matching fabric panels on feature walls to control overall ambient reverberation across the public space.
All materials carry ASTM E84 Class A fire certification and use low-VOC adhesives suitable for enclosed wellness spaces. Installation was completed overnight over 6 days so the studio could stay on its regular class schedule.
Project Results
Inter-room sound leakage dropped by an estimated 42%, and session privacy now meets the studio’s premium service standards. Client relaxation and focus scores from post-visit surveys rose by 35%, and the seamless soft fabric finish is repeatedly praised as contributing to the studio’s calm, luxury atmosphere. Class booking rates also increased notably following the upgrade.
