
This project focused on acoustic optimization for a professional e-commerce livestream studio. The original space had hard walls and a smooth floor, resulting in obvious room echo and reverberation. During live broadcasts, the host’s voice sounded hollow and unclear, and external equipment noise was easily picked up by microphones, seriously affecting the live streaming audio quality and audience viewing experience.
The project team selected recycled polyester fiber acoustic panels as the main wall and top surface treatment material. With an NRC rating of 0.85–0.95, the panels can efficiently absorb mid-to-high frequency reflected sound, eliminate indoor standing waves and flutter echoes, and make the human voice picked up by the microphone cleaner and fuller. The formaldehyde-free and non-toxic PET material ensures a healthy indoor environment for long-term live broadcast work.
The panels were installed in a modular staggered layout, with customized color matching to fit the brand visual style of the studio. The lightweight material is easy to install and will not cause excessive load on the wall. After the transformation, the reverberation time of the studio was controlled within the ideal range for recording and broadcasting, the microphone pickup effect was significantly improved, and the host’s voice was clear and textured. It effectively solves the common acoustic pain points of live broadcast rooms and provides reliable acoustic support for high-quality live broadcast output.
